Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

Zero-Log Provider. SwissGuard is committed to protecting your privacy. We operate under a strict zero-log policy. Our company is based in the UAE, and all traffic is routed through our Swiss infrastructure, benefiting from Switzerland's world-leading privacy protections.

1. Information We Collect

SwissGuard collects only the minimum information necessary to provide and maintain our service. We collect the following:

  • Account information: Your email address and name, provided when you create an account.
  • Payment information: Payment details necessary to process your subscription. Payment processing is handled by trusted third-party payment providers. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
  • Communication data: If you contact our support team, we retain the correspondence to resolve your issue and improve our service.
  • Basic usage analytics: Aggregate, anonymized data about app usage (such as which features are used most) to help us improve our products. This data cannot be tied to any individual user.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

This is the most important section of our privacy policy. SwissGuard is a zero-log provider. We do not and will never collect, store, or log any of the following:

  • Browsing history or the websites you visit
  • Connection logs or connection timestamps
  • Your original IP address
  • The IP address assigned to you by our service
  • DNS queries
  • Bandwidth data or transfer amounts
  • Session duration
  • Any content of your internet traffic

Our servers operate on RAM-only infrastructure. This means no data is ever written to a physical hard drive, and all data is permanently erased when a server is powered off or restarted. We have designed our systems so that even if compelled, we have no user activity data to provide to any party.

3. How We Use Information

The limited information we collect is used solely for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your SwissGuard account.
  • To process payments and maintain your subscription.
  • To respond to your support requests and communicate with you about your account.
  • To send important service updates, security alerts, and administrative messages.
  • To improve our service based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns.
  • To comply with applicable UAE and Swiss legal obligations.

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your account data is stored on encrypted servers located in Switzerland. We employ the following security measures:

  • AES-256 encryption for all stored data at rest.
  • TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit between your devices and our servers.
  • Periodic security reviews and assessments of our infrastructure.
  • Strict access controls limiting which team members can access user account data.
  • Servers operating on RAM-only infrastructure with no physical storage of activity data.

Traffic data is routed through and processed by our Swiss infrastructure, benefiting from some of the strongest data protection laws in the world. Switzerland is not part of the EU, the Five Eyes, Nine Eyes, or Fourteen Eyes intelligence-sharing alliances. Our company operates from the UAE, with all server infrastructure located in Switzerland and other privacy-friendly jurisdictions.

5. Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of trusted third-party services to operate SwissGuard:

  • Payment processors: To securely handle subscription payments. These providers do not have access to your activity on the service.
  • Email delivery service: To send transactional emails such as account confirmations and password resets.
  • Analytics (optional): Privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns. This can be opted out of at any time.

We carefully vet all third-party providers and require them to meet our high standards for data protection. We do not share any usage data with third parties, because we do not have any to share.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account:

  • Your account data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your deletion request.
  • Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable financial regulations.
  • Support correspondence may be retained for up to 12 months for quality assurance purposes, after which it is deleted.

As a reminder, we never have any activity data to retain or delete, because we never collect it in the first place.

7. Law Enforcement & Legal Requests

SwissGuard may be required to respond to valid legal requests from competent authorities in the United Arab Emirates or Switzerland. Our response to any such request is governed by the following principles:

  • We will only comply with requests that are legally valid and issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.
  • Due to our zero-log policy and RAM-only server infrastructure, we are technically unable to provide usage data, browsing history, connection logs, IP addresses, or traffic content, because this data does not exist.
  • The only data we may be able to provide in response to a valid legal order is limited to account information (email address and name) and payment records held by our third-party payment providers.
  • We will notify affected users of any legal request unless prohibited from doing so by law or court order.

We will never voluntarily provide user data to any government agency, intelligence service, or third party. We will challenge any request that we believe is overly broad, legally deficient, or inconsistent with our commitment to user privacy.

8. International Data Transfers

SwissGuard is operated by ESCAPE PLAN DEVELOPMENTS FZCO, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates. Our server infrastructure is located in Switzerland and other jurisdictions. Your account data may be processed in:

  • United Arab Emirates: Where our company is registered and business operations are managed.
  • Switzerland: Where our primary server infrastructure is located. Switzerland provides an adequate level of data protection as recognised by the European Commission.
  • Other jurisdictions: Where our servers may be located, depending on the server location you connect to. No user activity data is stored on these servers due to our RAM-only architecture.

By using our Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your account data as described in this policy. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for any international data transfers.

9. Children's Privacy

SwissGuard is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@swissguard.co so that we can take appropriate action.

10. Your Rights

SwissGuard complies with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the following rights:

  • Right of access: You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
